ABOUT

SOMA PYSALL is an actress and play facilitator, based between Berlin and Marseille. She is passionate about the human experience and the many ways in which we express it. „Our bodies carry past, present and future of who we are. Becoming aware of our ever-changing selves through play is the most beautiful and expansive way of experiencing life I could have ever imagined. There is simply no end to discovering the unknown parts of ourselves- and, through them, the world(s) around us.“

Soma was discovered on the streets of Berlin by her agent while still a teenager. She gained widespread recognition in 2020 for her portrayal of a police officer suffering from PTSD in the Tatort episode Borowski und der Fluch der weißen Möwe (dir. Hüseyin Tabak). Shortly thereafter, she made her breakthrough with the critically acclaimed and award-winning series Para – Wir sind King! (2021–2023, dir. Özgür Yıldırım). For her performance, she received the New Faces Award for Best Young Actress as well as the Blauer Panther Award for Best Actress.

Since then, Soma Pysall has established herself as a versatile actress across film, television, and streaming. Her recent credits include the award-winning satirical series Parlament (2023–2024, dir. Noé Debré) and the Disney+ series City of Blood (2026, dir. Philipp Kadelbach), in which she plays a leading role.

In 2026, Pysall can also be seen in two feature films in leading roles: Body of Glass (dir. Naëmi Ada), which will premiere at the prestigious San Sebastián International Film Festival, and I spy with my little eye (dir. Alisa Kolosova), which premiered at the Tribeca Festival in New York.
